Week 2 diary: See the original post here.

Put that foundation away folks, I’m now not so afraid to go bare-faced! That’s right, my skin is dramatically improving. My Garnier Dark Spot Corrector review is gong great! By week two I saw a clear and definite improvement of my skin overall, and the spots on my cheek are reacting well. The left side has faded quite well. The right side is still very prominent, but there is small improvement.

Any trace of redness from acne scarring (old breakouts, not new), have completely faded. How else do I put this? I’m effing over the moon! My skin looks lit from within, and that is something I have wanted forever. The dark patches are still there, but everything else has improved well enough to where I don’t care!

I believe the improvement on the dark cheek spots are contributed to the glowly complexion mostly. Imagine lighting a piece of paper from underneath with a torch – Everything on the paper appears diffused by the light. Now imagine this dark spot corrector working in the same way. That’s not exact science people, but the best way to describe it.

I’m excited to see what the results will be at week 3, 4 and beyond. I’m also wondering if I can fade my spots completely with continued use. Only time will tell. It’s fascinating to do a ‘study’ on my skin, but at the same time I’m sick of looking at all these pigmentation photos, ha ha! It is like spot overload, man. An assault on the senses!

Today is officially the end of week 3 by the way, update coming soon…

😀

See week one & three updates.

i’ve tried the U.S. version which comes in a green tube and I did feel like it was effective, if slow. Generally, speaking most vitamin c serums with significant l-ascorbic acid can gradually lighten hyperpig marks…the real issue is maintaining it with proper sunscreen and not inflammating skin. But this was a great product with 5% l-ascorb.

I agree with you 100% on the need for proper sun protection. I made sure to amp up my SPF to a broad spectrum because the last thing I wanted was to develop more hyper pigmentation or worsen the ones I do have. I wonder if there is any difference between the US and Australia version, other than packaging? 😀

Impressive results so far for a product you can buy from the supermarket, I now have this one on my list :). What’s the texture of the cream like? Does it absorb quickly? This time of year I think anything too heavy would sweat off my face before I had finished screwing the lid back on the tube! lol

Lol! For the both of us this is actually perfect for melting weather! It’s a gel/cream type consistency, and is actually quite light. At night I found I preferred to apply a heavier cream on top (read: air-conditioning addict). It’s slightly tacky once applied, but when dry isn’t noticeable at all and is quite smooth. Compared to other Vit C treatments (Avon!), its a dream.

I’m officially out of my tube and will pick up a new one probably tomorrow. Seriously, I think you’ll like it. I know your as skin crazy as I am lol!
