Rosehip Vital Organic Rosehip Oil

There’s a handful of products that I absolutely LOVE no matter what, and rosehip oil has a coveted spot on that list. If its natural and beneficial, I’m all over that.

I was sent a bottle of this rosehip oil to try, and you might recognise the Rose-Hip Vital name from their natural health supplements. This is their debut product into the beauty market, so lets take a closer look at their version of my favourite oil:

Final verdict:
Firstly, let me start off by saying I was surprised by the smell. It’s not unpleasant, but definitely unlike any rosehip oil I’ve ever tried. I found the smell strangely reminded me of Cheetos (remember those cheesy ball chips??). Crazy I know. I wasn’t bothered by the smell, but it may bother others.  Or alternatively, if by some chance you don’t like the typical smell of rosehip oil, then this would be a great! It’s a big pro/con point and could be a big deciding factor on whether you would like it.

Overall, this is a great rose hip oil. Not unlike other favourites of mine, this is another good option. At the end of the day, when choosing a rosehip oil it comes down to price, ingredients (any extras?), whether its certified organic, and in some cases smell. This one doesn’t disappoint, and my skin is always soft and supple when using it.

My favourite tip to pass on is, less is more. When it comes to oils a little goes a long way, and if you’re looking for a skin boost, apply it after your moisturiser/skin treatments to lock in the benefits.
