Welcome beauty aficionados! The end of June has snuck up on me (WHERE did the time go?) and I thought it would be nice to recap what I’m loving this month. This is my first ever ‘monthly favourites’, and I felt it would be fitting to feature them together in all their… um… beauty. No pun intended.

FREEMAN Facial Peel-Off Cucumber Mask & Facial Clay Avocado & Oatmeal Mask
If you haven’t noticed yet, I am a little obsessed with facial masks. These are two great budget versions, and the generous 150ml will last for months and months. The clay mask is great to keep any pesky breakouts at bay, which is a big bonus for me. So far I’ve alternated between the two a few times a week, I’m hard pressed to pick which is my favourite. And tell me I’m not the only one who likes to remove the peel-off versions! It’s just silly fun really 🙂

Shelf life for these babies is 24 months.

LUMINESCE Youth Restoring Cleanser
For a little sea change I’ve been using this in place of my usual daily cleanser, which is usually scary business, but I was pleasantly surprised to find I didn’t break out. Not a single pimple popping out saying “haaaaay!”.Two things I love about this cleanser is the twist open top (no loosing or fumbling for the lid) and the soft relaxing smell. There’s nothing more off-putting than a product that is an assault on the senses. I’m also impressed by the Sodium Lauryl/Laureth Sulfate and Paraben free formula. Not to mention the salicylic acid and glycolic acid which I noticed helped keep my skin fresh.

CEDEL Extra Firm Hairspray
Despite the name, this hairspray is actually anything but extra firm. It’s quite flexible in fact, but I am still a big fan. It works perfectly with retro hollywood-style waves, or any style you want to softly keep. There’s zero crunch and stiffness you get with some extra firm sprays. If you’re looking for a hairspray you can use that doesn’t leave that weird ‘fluff bunny-looking’ buildup in your hair, this is your baby. I can confidently use it one day, and not have to worry about it the next. And besides, I’m a sucker for the pick, vintage looking packaging and fragrance. Oh, and did I mention it is super cheap? I simply love this.

The avocado and oatmeal mask is amazing! I can’t believe how good my skin feels after I use it. I’ll have to try the peel off one next. Thanks for posting!
